This Autorotor Rotary Indexing Table series 5 is a automatic square axis unit to convert the uniform rotation of inlet shaft in an recurrent rotation of output disk. It is based on the principle of conjoining indexing and locking in a non-lifting system of face gear rings.

The number of standard indexing ranges from 2 up to 32. From 32 up to 540 indexing on request.

We offer precision engineered Mechanical rotary and linear manipulators that are offer solutions for moving and locating of pieces at high speed. This range which is created with positive movement, where masses are controlled in acceleration and deceleration, allows uniform transfer, without shocks and vibrations, up to 120 cycles/min. Linear manipulator horizontal stroke can be adjusted from 75 to 200 mm., while vertical stroke can be adjusted from 30 to 75 mm.

Specifications:

  • Rotary manipulator standard angular displacement can be of 30° - 60° - 90° - 120° - 180°
  •  Vertical stroke range from 40 to 180 mm.
  • On request, Autorotor can also supply motor drives for its products.

Benefits:

  • The manipulator is a unit which converts mechanical rotating uniform shaft of entry into rectilinear movement of the horizontal run and vertical, through a trio of cam drum, whose shape determines the type of cycle that is executed.
  • It is normally used as an accelerator of pallets. It can carry heavy loads (up to 70 kg).
  • Manipulators MLE are mechatronic units powered by linear motors, so by electric motors where rotor and stator are not "rolled up", but "unrolled", and generate a linear force instead of a torque.
  • Contrary to the mechanical manipulators, motion is not transmitted by cams or mechanical gears, but by induced electromagnetic forces; thus also the mechanical wear is close to nil.

Their unique manufacturing features make them a class of products apart. Their speed can reach 700/800 cycles/min. (excellent speed for tablet press, high speed press/shears feeder, etc.), although featuring high repeatability and absence of vibrations which are peculiar to Autorotor production.

We offer a very flexible and intelligent range of Servo Driven Index Tables that are featured with Rotary union for the supply of Hydraulic or pneumatic pressure to the clamps on the fixture. The top is, completely automated by means of a PC, PLC or a devoted panel. It is possible to set the position of rotation, the rotating speed and the acceleration ramp. The servomotor which moves the table is driven by a digital gear with incorporated axis card. Our Servo Driven Index Table provides mechanism of both rotary and linear motors. The device can be used for gearing applications.
